Overview
An established engineering firm serving commercial, institutional, and government clients is seeking a licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and plumbing system projects. This role blends technical design leadership with client engagement and mentorship, playing a key part in delivering complex mechanical systems from concept through construction.
What you'll do
- Manage mechanical design efforts from concept through construction
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Lead proposal development and support business development initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- PE license required
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Strong project management, communication, and client service skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
