Location: Atlanta, GA (travel throughout the Southeast) | Schedule: Full-time, on-site/remote project-based | Compensation: $100-120k ($100,000-$120,000)

Overview

A well-established commercial general contractor with over three decades of experience building commercial and industrial structures is expanding its presence across the Southeast. The company is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects and serve as a key representative of the firm to clients throughout remote project sites.

What you'll do

• Oversee projects from start to closeout, acting as an ambassador between the company and the client
• Manage projects successfully within budget and timeframe
• Build a reputation of excellence with owners/clients to support future business
• Work on Commercial and Industrial structure types, including Tilt-Wall/Tilt-Up Concrete, Warehouse or Distribution Center, and Big Box or Large Shopping/Retail projects
• Collaborate with office staff and trade-partners to execute projects
• Maintain the project schedule and ensure timely delivery/closeout
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Update and report to company management throughout the project to collaborate on ongoing progress

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction site management experience required
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites throughout the Southeast

Preferred qualifications

• Degree preferred (Construction Management or Engineering)
