Location: Atlanta, GA (extensive travel throughout the Southeast) | Schedule: Full-time, on-site at project locations | Compensation: $100,000-$120,000

Overview

An established commercial general contractor with over three decades of experience building commercial and industrial structures is expanding its footprint across the Southeast. The firm is seeking a Traveling Superintendent who has experience with ground-up commercial and industrial construction and is willing to work on remote project sites throughout the Southeast. This person will oversee projects from start to closeout, acting as an ambassador to clients while managing schedule, budget, and quality to build a reputation of excellence for future business.

What you'll do

• Oversee assigned projects from start through closeout
• Serve as an ambassador to clients, managing the project successfully within budget and timeframe
• Build a reputation of excellence with owners/clients to support future business
• Work on ground-up commercial and industrial structures, including Tilt-Wall / Tilt-Up Concrete, Warehouse or Distribution Center, and Big Box or Large Shopping/Retail projects
• Collaborate with office staff and trade partners to execute projects
• Maintain the project schedule and ensure timely delivery/closeout
• Maintain a safe work environment on site
• Update and report to company management throughout the project to collaborate on ongoing progress

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction site management experience
• Experience building ground-up commercial & industrial structures
• Willingness to travel and work on remote projects throughout the Southeast

Preferred qualifications

• Degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering
