Overview
An engineering firm serving the Atlanta area is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join its team. The role focuses on structural design for building projects across a range of commercial and institutional markets, offering the opportunity to contribute to diverse, high-impact projects.
What you'll do
- Perform structural design and analysis of building systems using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed framing
- Prepare structural calculations and construction documents using Revit
- Coordinate with other engineering and design disciplines
- Assist with construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and site observations
- Manage project responsibilities and deadlines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of structural design experience
- Proficiency with Revit
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with structural analysis/design software such as RAM or Enercalc is a plus
