Overview
A company that designs, manufactures, and produces children's apparel for a wide range of retailers is seeking a Production Coordinator. This role serves as the critical link between the internal team and overseas factories, ensuring products are manufactured to specification and flow smoothly through the production pipeline. Experience with children's apparel is not required, but the ideal candidate will be proactive and skilled at anticipating issues before they escalate.
What you'll do
- Act as the primary liaison between the internal team and overseas manufacturing factories
- Monitor production to ensure products are manufactured according to specified requirements
- Track the flow of goods through the production pipeline to ensure timely delivery
- Identify potential production issues proactively and address them before they become critical
- Coordinate communication and problem-solving across teams to keep production on schedule
Required qualifications
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalate
- Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, five days a week
- Experience coordinating production or working with overseas manufacturing (children's apparel experience not required)
