Overview
An established plastics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day activities within its injection molding facility. This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently met while providing both strategic and hands-on leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and materials functions in support of customer requirements and continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll do
- Lead all daily manufacturing operations within a plastic injection molding facility
- Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and materials teams
- Support customer requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with customer quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a plastic injection molding environment
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling materials (resins), and automation
- Proven leadership experience managing high-volume, multi-shift operations
