Overview

An established manufacturer is seeking an early-career Quality Engineer to join its team. This role is designed for a recent graduate or someone with limited professional experience who wants hands-on exposure to quality systems, continuous improvement, and manufacturing processes. It's an opportunity to build a strong foundation in quality engineering while working alongside experienced manufacturing and quality professionals.

What you'll do

• Support the company's Quality Management System and quality standards
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
• Assist with internal quality audits and corrective actions
• Collect and analyze manufacturing and quality data
• Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) initiatives
• Create graphs, reports, diagrams, and other quality documentation
• Help investigate problems, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Support customer quality concerns and non-conformance activities
• Assist with procedures, documentation, training, and other quality-related projects

Required qualifications

• A two-year technical degree in Quality, Statistical Analysis, or a related area (a four-year technical degree is also welcomed)
• Interest in quality, manufacturing, data analysis, statistics, metallurgy, or process improvement
• Solid computer skills and the ability to communicate clearly
• Early-career candidates welcome, including recent graduates or those with a year or two of experience

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a plus
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing is a plus
• Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus
• Familiarity with machining drawings is a plus
• Familiarity with statistical software is a plus
