Overview
A global leader in power and thermal management solutions is seeking a Product Manager - Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) to help drive growth in its VFD and power quality business. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, translating industry insight into market-driven strategy and offering a path to broader leadership opportunities within a global organization.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement market-driven initiatives for the VFD and power quality product line
- Guide teams in addressing technical selling challenges and operational needs
- Translate industry and customer insights into actionable product and sales strategies
- Engage directly with customers in a technical selling capacity
- Collaborate across teams to support factory automation and process control initiatives
Required qualifications
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the industrial automation industry
- Strong, customer-facing selling skills
- Hands-on technical experience with factory automation environments, process control sub-markets, motor control technology, control loops, variable speed control, VFD technology, and power filtering and conditioning
- Hands-on technical expertise with products such as Delta, ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Yaskawa, Danfoss, Omron, Mitsu, Schneider, Nidec, Lenze, and Invertek (highly preferred)
- Willingness to travel 20-30%
- US Citizen, Green Card holder, or TN Visa eligible
Preferred qualifications
- Understanding of UL, CE, and TUV standards
- Familiarity with industrial networks such as E/IP, ECAT, and PROFINET
Compensation and benefits
- Salary range: $120000 - $160,000, plus 10-15% bonus
