Overview
A globally recognized AmLaw 50 law firm with a leading private equity practice is seeking a talented Private Equity / M&A Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated corporate practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with premier private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and portfolio companies on complex, high-value transactions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
- Serve as an integral associate on private equity and M&A transactions
- Advise private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and portfolio companies across all phases of the investment life cycle
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex, high-value corporate transactions
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 3-8 years of substantive experience in private equity and M&A transactions
- Experience serving as an integral associate on Private Equity and M&A transactions
Preferred qualifications
- Strong preference for private equity sponsor-side experience
