Location: New York, NY | Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Compensation: $235,000-$365,000 base salary, plus discretionary bonus

Overview

A prominent large law firm is seeking a talented Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its rapidly-expanding structured finance practice in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance-focused attorney to work on sophisticated transactions in a dynamic and growing office.

What you'll do

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters

Required qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York
• 3–5 years of substantive experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation transactions
• Demonstrated experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience at a large law firm is strongly preferred

• Base salary range of $235,000-$365,000, commensurate with experience and market factors
