Lead CNC Machinist / Programmer

Overview
An established manufacturer is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist/Programmer to oversee precision machining operations and help ensure the quality and efficiency of its production processes. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced machinist ready to guide both equipment operation and team development.
What you'll do
- Interpret detailed blueprint drawings to accurately set up CNC machinery
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including Haas and Fadal machines, to produce parts of varying sizes and complexities
- Operate CNC equipment to machine parts with precision and efficiency
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to enhance production processes
- Mentor and assist junior machinists, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience in CNC machining and programming
- Proficiency with Haas and Fadal CNC mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC
