Overview

A precision manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join its 1st shift team. This role is central to producing high-quality machined parts, with the successful candidate performing setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC machines with minimal supervision.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers, with setup comprising approximately 90% of the role
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes
• Work from blueprints to guide machining operations
• Set up and run lathes and mills
• Select tools and set feeds and speeds
• Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Lift up to 70 lbs as needed
• Maintain a clean work environment and shop floor, including tools, equipment, and machines
• Re-order tools as needed

Required qualifications

• At least 4 & 5-Axis CNC experience
• 5 years experience minimum in setup and running lathes and mills
• 2-3 Years of Experience in CNC 5-Axis Milling Setup and Operations
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
