Overview
An established architecture and design firm is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead client acquisition and growth initiatives in the Kansas City market. This role is central to expanding the organization's project pipeline and strengthening its position within the regional AEC community.
What you'll do
- Drive business development strategy aligned with organizational growth goals
- Identify, pursue, and secure new clients and project opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, public agencies, and industry partners
- Lead and support pursuits, RFQs/RFPs, interviews, and presentations
- Collaborate with principals, studio leaders, and marketing to position the organization competitively
- Represent the organization at industry events and within the Kansas City AEC community
- Track pipeline activity and report on business development performance and forecasting
