Overview
A prestigious national law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Real Estate Practice Group. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate transactions with a team known for its depth of experience, client-focused approach, and collaborative culture.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
- Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey review, and manage closing processes
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand business goals and provide strategic, practical legal advice
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Support partners and senior attorneys on complex real estate matters involving commercial and institutional clients
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 2-4 years of substantive experience with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing
- Experience with real estate debt and/or equity matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Elevated attention to detail, with proven ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish
- Confident in managing client relationships and providing strategic, business-oriented legal counsel
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary: $235,000 – $295,000, as determined by experience and market factors
