Overview
An established public accounting company is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements and help guide business and individual clients through evolving tax challenges. This role is central to the company's client service model, combining technical tax expertise with team leadership and business development responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Interact closely with clients and team members to provide proactive individual and business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely and effective manner
- Specialize in both individual and business tax returns, with a concentration in flow-through entities
- Ensure client and team satisfaction through open communication, deadline management, and proactively sharing tax savings strategies
- Collaborate with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities
- Supervise and lead associate and senior associate team members to manage responsibilities and deadlines on client engagements
- Develop skills to attract new clients, market the company's services, and expand business with existing clients
- Stay current on legislative and professional changes, consulting with clients on potential implications
- Participate in client development through networking events and represent the company professionally in the business community
- Demonstrate continual commitment to the company's culture, values, and client service principles
- Exhibit communication and leadership skills that encourage others to develop similar capabilities
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of previous public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax, including corporate, partnership, individual, trusts, and estate planning, and resolving complex tax issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of various accounting software
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients
- CPA or law degree required
Preferred qualifications
- Manufacturing, Auto Dealership, or Construction industry experience strongly preferred

- $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 + Bonus
