Overview

A growing CPA firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking experienced audit professionals to join its practice. The firm offers a flexible remote/hybrid schedule and serves clients across a wide variety of industries. This role is central to managing client engagements, developing staff, and ensuring high-quality audit and accounting services.

What you'll do

• Plan, direct, and complete audits for multiple clients across various industries
• Manage all phases of project and engagement management
• Review financial statements and related technical accounting issues
• Develop and manage staff (for Audit Manager role)
• Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development (for Audit Manager role)
• Serve as the primary contact for an assigned group of clients (for Audit Manager role)
• Handle multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast-paced team environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• For Audit Manager: CPA and five to seven years of progressive audit experience in public accounting
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Strong client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Proficiency with computer/PC applications, including audit-preparation software, and an understanding of the impact of technology
