Overview
A rapidly growing wealth management firm is expanding its services to include tax preparation for its clients. The firm is seeking an experienced Tax Practice Manager to lead this new practice area, focusing on client relationships, tax strategy, and efficient practice management.
What you'll do
- Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice
- Oversee individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Standardize workflows and leverage technology to improve processes and enhance the client experience
- Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates
- Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records
Required qualifications
- CPA required
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients
- Proficient in tax technology and software
- Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities
Preferred qualifications
- Master in taxation a plus
