Overview

A rapidly growing specialty food and confectionery brand is expanding its retail footprint across the United States and seeking a high-impact Retail Operations Manager to oversee and grow its East Coast brick-and-mortar storefronts. This role directly leads and supports field leadership to ensure consistent operational excellence and an outstanding customer experience across all store locations.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations across all retail locations to ensure consistent execution of company standards and operational excellence
• Directly manage, coach, and establish clear performance goals for District Managers and Store Managers
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning for key retail personnel and field leadership
• Monitor sales results and KPIs, partnering with store leadership to develop action plans for underperforming locations
• Partner with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, monitor shrinkage, and support new store openings or remodels
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, company safety policies, and proper cash handling procedures

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive retail operations leadership experience
• Multi-unit management: proven track record of multi-unit retail management required
• Direct experience managing and developing District Managers and Store Managers
• Strong background in hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee relations
• Ability to travel regularly to various store locations across the region
