Overview
An established OEM manufacturer with over 40 years of stability and steady annual growth is seeking a Precision Sheet Metal Associate to join its production team in Richfield, WI. Operating out of a clean, modern 60,000 sq. ft. facility, this is a direct-hire opportunity for a reliable, detail-oriented worker to build a long-term career in sheet metal fabrication.
What you'll do
- Form, fit, and assemble heavy-duty sheet metal machinery and structural systems as part of a production team
- Use rulers, tape measures, and layout tools daily to verify raw material and finished component dimensions to exact fractional specifications
- Safely maneuver, position, and load raw sheet metal stock into staging zones while maintaining an organized work area
- Cross-train across multiple manufacturing stations to operate a variety of fabrication equipment
- Collaborate with team leadership to inspect completed components for quality, structural integrity, and safety compliance
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of verifiable experience in sheet metal manufacturing, punching, or custom metal fabrication
- Proficiency using physical tape measures and rulers for fractional layout work
- 2+ years of continuous, steady physical labor experience demonstrating work ethic and stamina
- Strong work history showing daily attendance, reliability, and commitment to safety and quality
- Local commute within reliable daily driving distance of Richfield, WI
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience setting up or operating hydraulic press brakes, metal shears, or punch presses
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical assembly drawings or fabrication schematics
- Hands-on experience with angle grinders, sanders, or deburring tools for metal finishing
Compensation and benefits
- $22.00 – $24.00/hour starting pay rate
