Location: Columbus, OH | Schedule: Full-time, on-site, 3rd shift | Compensation: $60K - $70K

Overview

A tier-one automotive supplier specializing in the design and production of lighting equipment, accessories, and electronic components is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Coordinator for its 3rd shift operations. This role is key to ensuring production quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Oversee production to ensure customer needs are met on time and in line with quality standards
• Provide leadership through performance planning using Continuous Improvement principles
• Ensure effective training and understanding of policies and procedures among associates
• Clarify expectations and drive achievement of departmental targets
• Monitor and track performance measures such as reject rate and FPY
• Apply PDCA methodology to achieve continuous improvement
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized production areas
• Oversee associate training to meet quality, safety, and productivity targets
• Ensure adherence to all SOPs, QWIs, QSPs, and related procedures
• Participate in improvement projects to support cost reduction and operational efficiency
• Address other issues related to improving Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of manufacturing experience
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Fluent English speaker
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a general office environment for 4 hours per day and a manufacturing environment for 4 hours per day, including approximately 20 minutes of bending per day
