Overview

A community hospital of about 100 beds near the Tucson area is seeking a CT Technologist to join its imaging team. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic care in a supportive environment within a growing community of more than 40,000 residents known for its affordable cost of living, temperate climate, and year-round outdoor recreation.

What you'll do

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures and exams on patients of all ages to diagnose anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely and competently according to established procedures
• Perform and complete diagnostic Computed Tomography examinations accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in administering contrast media and related procedures per departmental policy
• Obtain high-quality CT images and remain proficient in executing software protocols for optimal image quality
• Ensure quality assurance measures are consistently met
• Maintain proactive communication with radiologists regarding unusual clinical findings or history
• Ensure orders match diagnoses to support proper reimbursement for services
• Deliver age- and culturally appropriate care, identifying and resolving issues affecting patient care

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
• ARRT R.T. (R) Registered Radiographer required
• CT Certification and CRT and CTCT Arizona License required
• At least 1+ year experience required
• BLS within 90 days of hire
