Overview
A leading regional referral center and Level II trauma center known for comprehensive stroke care is seeking an outpatient Neurologist to join its well-established Neurosciences Clinic. This role offers a collaborative, resource-rich environment focused entirely on outpatient general neurology care, with an ideal emphasis on NMM/EMG expertise.
What you'll do
- Provide outpatient care for a diverse range of general neurology cases
- Perform or interpret on-site EMG/NCV testing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and other specialists
- Potentially precept residents and medical students as part of teaching opportunities
Required qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible to obtain a medical license in Alabama
- Visa candidates and 2027 candidates accepted
Preferred qualifications
- Experience or training in EMG/NCV is preferred
- Focus in NMM/EMG is ideal

Why this role
