Location: Green Bay, WI | Schedule: Full-time, field-based/on-site within territory

Overview

An established industrial hardware distributor operates mobile retail stores that bring products and service directly to customers across sectors such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment. The company is seeking a Territory Manager to run a fully stocked mobile store, build new business, and serve customers within a defined geographic territory.

What you'll do

• Prospect and sell by developing new leads through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls
• Maintain customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software

Required qualifications

• Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Must maintain a clean driving history
• Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis
• Strong tenured work background with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment

Preferred qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred
