Overview
A world-leading manufacturer of robotic machinery and automation solutions for the semiconductor industry is seeking a Director of Operations to lead its team at major customer sites. This is the highest on-site leadership role, serving as the main point of contact for high-profile clientele and overseeing special projects including cleanroom installations from concept through commissioning.
What you'll do
- Align with installation leadership to develop a resource plan for technical resources
- Plan and execute strategy to optimize company performance and customer satisfaction of machinery
- Work closely with the GM and department managers to define goals and KPI expectations, leading departments to meet target objectives
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently at all levels inside and outside the organization
- Support the safety program and implement Site Safety Plans in cooperation with the Safety Team
- Demonstrate strong understanding of design and assembly operations requirements for the fabrication machinery industry
- Work closely with sales management and engineering teams to meet company and customer objectives
- Manage P&L
- Create hiring, training, and other required human resource plans to support projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or a related field
- Strong career progression
- History of working closely with customers in the semiconductor industry
- P&L experience or budget management in excess of $100M
- Experience managing department managers to achieve company and customer targets
- Experience catering to high-profile clients with a sense of urgency and quality control
- Experience implementing custom-engineered machinery or industrial construction projects throughout industrial facilities
- Proven history of successful team mentoring and management, optimizing business culture both locally and internationally
- Ability to travel as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred qualifications
- 7+ years of proven success and experience with Clean Rooms, Robotics, Automated Machinery highly preferred
