Location: Centerburg, Ohio | Schedule: full time, on-site, 4 days a week, 10hr shifts | Compensation: $37500-$48,000 depending on experience, plus full benefits package

Overview

A respected hospital located just northeast of Columbus, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join its inpatient pharmacy team. This role offers the chance to work alongside a well-regarded pharmacy director and team in a collaborative healthcare environment, supporting patient care through accurate medication preparation and distribution.

What you'll do

• Assist and support licensed pharmacists in providing healthcare and medications to patients
• Act as a liaison between the public and the pharmacist
• Prepare and distribute medications
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records
• Order, receive, and stock pharmacy medications in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform IV Compounding
• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, regulatory/accrediting body requirements, and professional practice standards
• Perform all tasks under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Perform Pyxis filling
• Perform sterile IV compounding
• Conduct medication histories
• Complete additional pharmacy tasks such as cleaning, restocking crash carts, and receiving medication orders

Required qualifications

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
• Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB (CPhT), or must become certified within one year

Compensation and benefits

• Position is full time, working 4 days a week, 10hr shifts
• Start times between 7am-9am, with rotating shifts of 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
• 1 weekend a month and 1-2 holidays per year
• Salary range of $37500-$48,000, depending on experience
