Overview
An established refinery operation is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join its maintenance and reliability team. This role is central to keeping plant operations running safely and efficiently, working across both fixed and rotating equipment while helping to shape long-term maintenance strategy.
What you'll do
- Support day-to-day maintenance and reliability activities at the refinery
- Help develop and improve maintenance and reliability strategy
- Collaborate with on-site technicians and contractors
- Work across both fixed and rotating equipment systems
Required qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in refining, petrochemical, terminal, or another heavy industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, fixed equipment, piping systems, and refinery maintenance practices
- Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, contract maintenance resources, and CMMS systems
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, Process Safety Management, lockout/tagout, and safe-work permitting
