Overview

An established manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the integrity and efficiency of its quality control systems and equipment. This role is central to advancing process capability and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, using data-driven analysis, troubleshooting, and calibration expertise to meet and exceed regulatory, customer, and company standards.

What you'll do

  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to enhance process capability and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee measurement system analysis, including inspection systems, gauge calibration, and analytical testing
  • Develop and execute instructions for inspection, testing, calibration, and evaluation of products, equipment, and processes
  • Review and approve Certificates of Acceptance (CoA) for production batches, ensuring timely release
  • Conduct process capability analyses (Cpk, Ppk, CTQ) and maintain calibration certificates for equipment
  • Support quality product development, trial tests, and facilitate customer audits
  • Provide quality training for employees and participate in root cause analysis for nonconforming products
  • Perform periodic gap analysis, generating reports and charts to drive improvement projects
  • Monitor and test critical control points (CCPs) and conduct internal audits with actionable plans for findings
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Conduct internal audits and develop corrective action plans following external audits
  • Perform additional duties as required by the role

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of HARA, ISO, and BRCGS standards
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable position within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Proficiency in quality metrics, reporting, and troubleshooting, with exposure to calibration and audit support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional time management skills and proficiency in Excel, statistical software, and quality-related applications
