Overview

A community health center is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care. This role focuses on comprehensive mental health services and supports coordinated, cost-effective care across the patient lifecycle, serving a diverse patient population in a mission-driven clinical setting.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with patients and staff
• Apply sound clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in complex situations
• Support quality improvement initiatives and operational processes

Required qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of mental health best practices, clinical protocols, and accreditation standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in community health or similar clinical setting preferred
