Overview
An established regional health system is seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join its primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered outpatient care in a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, preventive medicine, and long-term patient relationships within a family-friendly Southern community.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct preventive health evaluations, physical exams, and wellness visits
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain precise and timely electronic medical records
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, specialists, and support staff
Required qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
