Overview
A well-established and expanding healthcare provider in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Physician in Family or Internal Medicine to join its team in Valparaiso, IN. This full-time role offers a Monday – Friday schedule with a 1:10 call rotation and the chance to design a practice around your professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment recognized as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country. Relocation Assistance is available.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality primary care, including physical exams, wellness check-ups, and immunizations for a diverse patient population (Adults only for IM; all ages for FM)
- See approximately 15-30 clinic patients per day
- Participate in a 1:10 call rotation
- Diagnose and manage long-term conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD
- Treat non-emergent injuries and illnesses (e.g., infections, minor trauma)
- Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and other diagnostic screenings
- Manage the patient's care journey by coordinating with specialists
What you'll need
- Board Certified or Board Eligible, with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe
- Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
- Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Open to H-1B applicants who meet all federal requirements and possess an unrestricted Indiana medical license
Compensation and benefits
- Compensation: $250k–$315k per year
