Overview

A physician-led multi-site medical group with locations across Long Island is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join its outpatient practice. This is a 100% outpatient role based in Levittown, NY, with flexible hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, and no call responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives

What you'll need

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active or eligible board certification in Family Medicine
• Licensed in New York State, or eligible for licensure
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice is required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus

Compensation and benefits

• $250K-$400K per year
