A physician-led, multi-site outpatient medical group with locations across Long Island is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician. This well-established practice is known for clinical excellence, strong patient satisfaction, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role is based in Massapequa, NY.

What you'll do

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality patient care
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients clearly on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams for seamless patient care
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects
• Support development of a sustainable, growing patient panel

What you'll need

• MD or DO degree with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine
• Licensed in New York State (or eligible for licensure)
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, patient-centered approach to care
• Proven ability to maintain and grow a local clinical practice
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus

Compensation and benefits

• $300K-$500K per year
• Flexible hours, Monday–Friday, no call
