Overview
An established energy-sector employer with thousands of employees across the Northeast is expanding its Oracle ecosystem to support corporate growth, a recent acquisition, and a broader cloud transformation initiative. The organization is hiring an Oracle Developer to help build out its Oracle Fusion/Utilities environment, partnering closely with business teams, data engineers, application architects, and implementation partners on a hands-on enterprise applications role spanning development, configuration, integrations, reporting, and support.
What you'll do
- Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and related applications
- Work with functional business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts
- Support data conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with data engineers and application architects to align solutions with enterprise standards
- Troubleshoot application issues and help maintain system reliability
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and post-implementation stabilization
- Document configurations, integrations, and technical designs
- Work with outside vendors and implementation partners to support knowledge transfer and long-term application support
Required qualifications
- At least 5+ years of Oracle Developer experience supporting enterprise application development, systems analysis, or a related discipline
- Professional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, including a mix of Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, and/or Security, including configuration, extensions, integrations, or development
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; transcripts will be required
- Local to Buffalo, NY; Erie, PA; or Dayton, OH (or within the specified remote radius), or willing to relocate upon hire
- Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in utilities, energy, financial services, or another regulated industry preferred
- Hands-on experience with enterprise implementations, acquisitions, and/or major platform transitions highly desired
