Overview
An established manufacturing organization is seeking CAD/CAM engineers at multiple experience levels to support mechanical design and drafting for production programs. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, manufacturable 3D models and drawings that meet strict engineering standards, and requires onsite presence and US Citizenship due to program requirements.
What you'll do
- Create and review mechanical drawings, verifying completed work, dimensions, materials, and quantities
- Perform mechanical modeling using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter
- Create and revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards
- Resolve GD&T interpretation issues on drawings
- Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing
- Liaise with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, as well as vendors as needed
- May supervise and direct the activities of staff, as requested
- Perform related duties as assigned or required
Required qualifications
- Experience utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter
- Knowledge of ASME modeling and drawing standards
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows
- US Citizenship required
- Must be able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under schedule pressure with patience
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Compensation and benefits
- Junior level: $30-35/hr W2 (approximately $30,000-$35,000 depending on hours)
- Mid level: $35-48/hr W2
- Senior level: $48-62/hr W2
- 12 Month Contract, Onsite only
