Overview
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys within its litigation group in the Dallas office. The team focuses on commercial litigation and financial services litigation matters, and this role offers the chance to join a collaborative group that values professional growth, work-life balance, and long-term career development.
What you'll do
- Support multiple attorneys across active commercial and financial services litigation matters
- Manage case files from inception through resolution, keeping everything organized and trial-ready
- Conduct factual investigations and interviews to identify key parties, issues, and relevant documents for discovery
- Assist in preparing responses to interrogatories and requests for production, including ESI production
- Coordinate depositions and assist with summarizing depositions, medical records, and testimony using litigation support technology
- Draft pleadings and filings for federal and state civil litigation, including e-filing
- Support trial preparation — exhibits, demonstrative aids, witness coordination — and assist at trial
- Verify case citations for accuracy and current validity through Westlaw
- Maintain attorney calendars and case deadlines
- Interact directly with clients, court personnel, and government officials
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4 years experience working with complex litigation required
- Experience with commercial litigation/business litigation required
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and sharp proofreading ability
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Preferred qualifications
- 4-year college degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate preferred
- Trial prep experience strongly preferred
- Experience with litigation support software and electronic discovery tools preferred
