Overview

A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys within its litigation group in the Dallas office. What you'll do

• Support multiple attorneys across active commercial and financial services litigation matters
• Manage case files from inception through resolution, keeping everything organized and trial-ready
• Conduct factual investigations and interviews to identify key parties, issues, and relevant documents for discovery
• Assist in preparing responses to interrogatories and requests for production, including ESI production
• Coordinate depositions and assist with summarizing depositions, medical records, and testimony using litigation support technology
• Draft pleadings and filings for federal and state civil litigation, including e-filing
• Support trial preparation — exhibits, demonstrative aids, witness coordination — and assist at trial
• Verify case citations for accuracy and current validity through Westlaw
• Maintain attorney calendars and case deadlines
• Interact directly with clients, court personnel, and government officials

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 years experience working with complex litigation required
• Experience with commercial litigation/business litigation required
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and document management systems
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and sharp proofreading ability
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Preferred qualifications

• 4-year college degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certificate preferred
• Trial prep experience strongly preferred
• Experience with litigation support software and electronic discovery tools preferred
