Overview
An established precision manufacturer serving the aerospace industry is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop and optimize machining programs for precision components. What you'll do
- Create and optimize CNC programs for milling operations
- Program custom components and tooling for production applications
- Develop machining methods and tooling strategies
- Set up and support CNC milling machines during production
- Test, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production equipment
- Modify programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency
- Maintain programming documentation and revision control
- Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality
- Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree preferred (Engineering or Manufacturing Technology)
- Minimum 5 years of CNC Programming experience
- Strong experience programming CNC milling machines
- Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred qualifications
- CATIA experience
- Epicor ERP experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience with complex precision-machined components
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
