A prestigious global law firm is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated Corporate Finance & Capital Markets practice. The role offers the opportunity to work on innovative, high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions for clients across asset management, private credit, private equity, and life sciences industries. This is a hybrid position available in Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY, or Washington, DC.

What you'll do

• Work on complex financings and cutting-edge capital markets transactions in global markets
• Represent issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in public offerings, private placements, and other securities offerings
• Advise clients on securities law compliance and reporting obligations under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934
• Represent business development companies (BDCs) and other 1940 Act funds

What you'll need

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3-8 years of substantive experience in capital markets
• Experience representing issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in public offerings, private placements, and other securities offerings
• Strong background advising on securities law compliance and reporting obligations under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934
• Experience representing business development companies (BDCs) and other 1940 Act funds
