Location: Philadelphia, PA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (alternative or part-time schedules may be considered, excluding 4x10 shifts)
Overview
A healthcare organization in Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Audiologist to join its clinical team. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative care to children while growing within a supportive, multi-location practice environment.
What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for children using diagnostic tests, following departmental and regulatory guidelines
- Interpret and communicate test results clearly to patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians in diagnosing and treating auditory disorders
- Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, rehabilitation options, and educational services
- Ensure smooth care transitions and coordinate follow-up scheduling with managing audiologists
- Maintain productivity and fiscal responsibility in service delivery
- Stay current with department policies and procedures, integrating research into clinical practice
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience in audiology
- Master's Degree in Audiology required
- Current Audiology License from the Pennsylvania State Licensing Board
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology required upon hire
- Exemplary communication skills
- A positive attitude and professional demeanor
Preferred qualifications
- PhD strongly preferred
- Experience in a pediatric medical-based setting preferred but not required
