Overview
A respected teaching hospital in upstate New York is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join its outpatient sports medicine team. This is an opportunity to support the health and performance of local athletes while working alongside an experienced physical therapy staff in a well-regarded regional medical center known for strong community ties and employee satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive athletic training services to local colleges, high schools, and community sporting events
- Collaborate with an experienced physical therapy team in a state-of-the-art outpatient facility
- Work in a dynamic, supportive environment that values teamwork, education, and professional growth
Required qualifications
- National certification through the NATA Board of Certification (BOC)
- New York State licensure (or license-eligible)
- CPR certification within the first three months of employment
- BS or MS from an institution with a NATA-approved Athletic Training curriculum
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in a college or high school setting preferred
Compensation and benefits
- Competitive salary and full benefits package
- Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 or tuition reimbursement up to $20,000
