Location: Macon, GA | Schedule: Full-time, field-based/on-site within assigned territory

Overview

Our client is a long-established, family-owned industrial hardware and supply company that brings a fully stocked mobile store directly to customers across industries such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment. They are seeking a Territory Manager to grow sales within a defined geographic territory by bringing products and service directly to the customer's location.

What you'll do

• Prospect and develop new sales opportunities through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face cold and warm sales calls
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls
• Maintain customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available
• Ability to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Clean driving history
• Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis
• Strong tenured work background with no job hopping; ideally no more than 3 companies over the past 10 years
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment

Preferred qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales
