Location: Mcallen, TX | Schedule: Full-time, field-based (on-site within assigned territory)

Overview

A long-established, family-owned industrial supply company is seeking a Territory Manager for the McAllen, TX area. This organization operates a fleet of fully stocked mobile stores that bring industrial hardware directly to customers across sectors such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment. This role is a direct, relationship-driven sales position serving a defined geographic territory.

What you'll do

• Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers
• Make face-to-face calls on cold and warm sales prospects
• Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store
• Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store
• Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls
• Maintain customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software

Required qualifications

• Must reside within the assigned territory (Mcallen, TX); relocation is not available
• Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle
• Must maintain a clean driving history
• Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong, tenured work background with no job hopping; ideally a maximum of 3 companies over the past 10 years
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment

Preferred qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales, is preferred
