Overview
A prominent large law firm is seeking an Associate or Counsel Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to advise high-net-worth individuals on sophisticated trust and estate matters while growing within a collaborative, team-oriented practice.
What you'll do
- Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration
- Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs
- Manage estate administration from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met
- Prepare client presentations and conduct tax calculations and analyses
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to deliver superior client service
- Supervise and direct paralegals in a collaborative environment
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
- Pennsylvania Bar Admission or ability to waive in
- LL.M. and strong tax background required
- 5+ years of substantive law firm experience in estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts
- Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact
- Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment
Compensation and benefits
- Expected annual base salary range of $285,000-$395,000, as determined by experience and market factors
