Location: Dresden, OH | Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week (2 openings; day shift variable, night shift 7pm-7:30am) | Compensation: $23.50-$38.90 per hour, dependent on education (MLT or MT) and experience

Overview

A highly regarded regional hospital known for its excellence in patient care is seeking a Lab / Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist (MT or MLT) to join its clinical laboratory team. Located in a peaceful rural setting with easy access to nearby city amenities, this organization offers a supportive environment for professional growth while performing a high volume of diagnostic testing each year.

What you'll do

  • Perform various clinical laboratory tests to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Follow established procedures for testing and quality control
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as directed
  • Contribute to a fast-paced lab system performing 1.8 million tests/year

Required qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician program
  • MT/CLS (ASCP) or MLT/CLS (ASCP) certification

Preferred qualifications

  • Blood Bank experience is a plus
  • New graduates will be considered if they have completed a clinical rotation in a high-volume lab

Compensation and benefits

  • Hourly range of $23.50-$38.90 per hour, dependent upon education (MLT or MT) and experience
  • Generous shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends
