Overview
A highly regarded hospital system known for excellent patient care is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join its clinical laboratory team. What you'll do
- Perform various clinical laboratory tests to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
- Follow established procedures for testing and quality control
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as directed
- Work within a fast-paced lab system performing 1.8 million tests per year
Required qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician program
- MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP) certification
Preferred qualifications
- Blood Bank experience is a plus
- New graduates will be considered if they have completed a clinical rotation in a high-volume lab
Compensation and benefits
- You will work full time, 40hrs a week
- Hourly range of $23.50-$38.90 per hour, dependent upon education (MLT or MT) and experience
- Generous shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends
