Overview

A well-established, South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm offering assurance, tax, and advisory services is seeking a career-minded Tax Senior Associate. The firm operates multiple offices across the Carolinas and maintains an alliance with a top-tier national CPA firm, giving staff access to advanced technical resources while serving both large complex clients and local small businesses. What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide services in individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and plan work with associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with team members across all phases of tax engagements
• Review individual and business tax returns, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Deliver high-level client service
• Stay current on tax law changes, accounting developments, and best practices
• Collaborate with team members on continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and firm activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing individual and business taxation

Preferred qualifications

• CPA or EA in progress is a plus
