Overview
A dynamic and growing organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen its HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives on building compliant, people-focused programs while driving organizational success.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and multiple State Employment & Labor laws
- Oversee Workers' Compensation policies and procedures
- Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding initiatives
- Conduct annual reviews of employee compensation and benefits
- Manage open enrollment, FMLA, and short-term disability
- Hold full accountability for all aspects of payroll
- Serve on the 401K plan review committee
- Design and implement employee evaluation programs
- Analyze exit interview trends and report insights to senior leadership
- Mentor and develop HR staff to grow capabilities and engagement
- Partner with employment attorneys on compliance and policy matters
- Assess organizational training needs and roll out effective programs
- Participate in disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness and professionalism
Required qualifications
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in an organization of 100+ employees
- Proven expertise in FMLA and ADA administration
- Hands-on experience managing compliance across multiple states
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (required)
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative team environment
