Overview
A national full-service law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated Commercial Real Estate practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling complex real estate transactions and collaborating with a skilled team on high-profile matters spanning acquisitions, dispositions, and financing across a broad range of asset classes.
What you'll do
- Represent clients in commercial real estate purchases, sales, and financing transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, easements, and related transactional documents
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews, including analysis of title, survey, zoning, and other real estate-related matters
- Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, closings, and post-closing matters
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients
- Manage client communications and support the efficient execution of complex transactions
Required qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington, D.C., in good standing
- 5+ years of substantive commercial real estate experience
- Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
- Strong understanding of real estate transaction structures, due diligence, title and survey review, and closing processes
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and collaborative teamwork
Preferred qualifications
- Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
Compensation and benefits
- Compensation: $257,000–$365,000, as determined by experience and market factors
