Location: San Antonio, TX | Schedule: Full-time, field-based

Overview

A hospice care provider serving the San Antonio and South Texas region is seeking a field-based sales liaison to grow its referral network and support community outreach. This role is central to expanding census and building lasting relationships with the healthcare partners who refer patients into hospice care.

What you'll do

• Develop, expand and maintain strong referral-source relationships across the assigned San Antonio market
• Represent hospice services professionally with referral partners, patients, families and community partners
• Identify new referral opportunities and strengthen existing accounts through consistent outside sales activity
• Work closely with internal clinical and operations teams to support appropriate referrals and smooth transitions into care

Required qualifications

• Hospice and/or Home Health Sales experience required
• Minimum 2 or more years of sales experience as outlined above required
• Local market knowledge, job stability and proven, verifiable performance
• Ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources including physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven healthcare environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance required

Preferred qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of healthcare sales, marketing, business development or referral-development experience strongly preferred
• Established local contacts/referral sources in San Antonio and surrounding South Texas markets strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CRM/contact management software preferred
