Location: Gratiot, OH | Schedule: full time, hybrid (onsite 50% of the time) | Compensation: $95,000-$125,000, depending on experience

Overview

A well-regarded rural hospital system with a reputation for exceptional patient care is seeking a Revenue Cycle & Financial Systems Manager to lead information systems initiatives that support its healthcare operations. This role blends IT project leadership with healthcare revenue cycle expertise, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on a growing, community-focused organization.

What you'll do

• Manage and directly participate in revenue cycle and financial/operational system projects, including analysis, design, implementation, and full lifecycle support
• Supervise daily operations of registration, scheduling, HIM, document imaging, hospital and ambulatory billing, and other non-clinical departmental system teams
• Determine work schedules, monitor performance, resolve technical and project issues, and educate staff
• Plan and manage day-to-day team activities, including prioritization and meeting planning
• Ensure integration of system configuration through coordinated design and build
• Prepare summary status reports and review with the Project Director
• Ensure project plan completion and assess risk impact to projects
• Ensure high-quality deliverables in coordination with the Project Quality Control Team
• Manage and resolve project issues, escalating as needed
• Develop weekly status reports addressing outstanding work, issues, and risks
• Apply Epic experience and training to team tasks and deliverables
• Ensure timely team decision-making and adherence to communication processes
• Promote new systems to end users
• Participate in Project Director and Implementation Steering Team meetings
• Stay current on information technology principles, practices, and emerging technologies
• Coordinate activities across delivery services and other divisions for seamless client service
• Build strong client relationships to identify needs and requirements
• Provide technical leadership on the future direction of information systems and their enterprise impact
• Participate in investigation, evaluation, consulting, systems analysis, design, and management of systems and projects
• Independently manage development of project requirements, timelines, specifications, work plans, and resources
• Coordinate analysis of business functions and processes for automation
• Provide proactive project management across the full project lifecycle
• Guide and manage process improvement and transformation initiatives
• Manage implementation and development of enterprise-wide integrated information systems
• Support development and maintenance of long-range information system strategic and operational plans
• Stay current on installed and available application software to maximize its use
• Establish, monitor, and adjust project quality standards and measures
• Collaborate with other project managers to provide integrated project management services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of project management experience, minimum
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products including MS Project
• Five years of information systems experience
• Minimum of three years of healthcare revenue cycle, financial, operational, and enterprise systems experience
• Strong personnel management, project management, and technology management experience
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Experience managing large and small system selection, acquisition, and implementation projects
• Experience with project and resource management concepts for system acquisition, design, implementation, development, and maintenance
• Experience with process re-design and re-engineering methodologies and techniques
• Epic experience

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range of $95,000-$125,000, depending on years of experience
• Full benefits package offered
• full time, hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence 50% of the time
