Overview

A well-established, growing accounting and consulting firm based in the Carolinas is seeking a career-minded Tax Senior Associate to join its expanding tax practice. The firm offers a broad range of assurance, tax, and advisory services and provides opportunities to work alongside professionals with a wide range of experience, from those just starting out to seasoned veterans. This role offers a clear path toward partnership, professional growth, and exposure to both large complex engagements and local business clients.

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide services related to individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and coordinate planning with associates and senior associates
• Collaborate with team members across all phases of tax engagements
• Review individual and business tax returns, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Deliver high-level client service
• Stay current on tax law changes, accounting developments, and best practices
• Partner with team members on continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and firm-wide activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing individual and business taxation

Preferred qualifications

• CPA or EA in progress is a plus
