Overview

An established Southeast-based accounting and consulting firm offering assurance, tax, and advisory services is seeking a career-minded Tax Manager to join its growing tax practice. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of professionals across multiple offices, take on complex projects through the firm's alliance with a larger national firm, and pursue a clear path toward partnership and professional growth.

What you'll do

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with team members on all phases of the tax engagement
• Review mostly business (and some individual) tax returns and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Provide high-level client service
• Stay current on tax law changes and accounting-related developments and best practices
• Collaborate with team members on continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing both individual and business taxation

Preferred qualifications

• CPA or EA in progress preferred
